⭐️ A Heartfelt Birthday Message for My Sister

Today is about another woman in my life: my sister. She’s special, and of course, on a day like this, gym can wait.

According to my parents, I was supposed to be an only child. My mother, who only wanted one baby, hesitated… but ended up giving me the best gift she could ever offer: my sister. My Mana.

Dainete was born on May 30th, making all three women in the family May girls. But of course — knowing her — she couldn’t be a Taurus. She had to stand out. She had to be a Gemini…😏

My sister carries, brilliantly, beauty, intelligence, and professionalism. She’s a lovely human being, loved by family and admired by her students and colleagues. My daughter absolutely adores her, and that alone shows the love and care she has for her niece. Or she wouldn’t be her godmother. ☺️

I loved growing up with this girl — with whom I argued constantly. Yet, miraculously, every disagreement disappeared the moment the topic turned to entertainment. We had so much fun together. What a happy childhood and adolescence we had. ❤️

This beautiful girl, who played endlessly, always managed to get brilliant grades — and would get furious if a test result was anything below 90%.

(Meanwhile, Suzike was thrilled when she hit 70% 😂).

And that excellent student became a Math teacher admired everywhere she goes. I’m so proud of her.

I’m lucky. My Mana is the best of best friends. She’s my confidant, the one who feels my pain and celebrates my joy. I know I can TRULY count on her. When needed, she tells me the truth — even when I don’t want to hear it (especially coming from a younger sister 🙄). But she’s also my fiercest defender, the one who stands by me when I need strength to face anything.

While alive, my mother constantly asked us to remain close, united, and never allow anyone to destroy that bond. She can rest now. I love my sister deeply. She can always count on me… for everything.

I wish a Happy Birthday to the WONDERFUL Dainete Mendes. May this date return every year with health and prosperity.

Everything else will follow. 😉
