And we have reached another festive season: Christmas.
This, like so many celebrations, has different meanings for people. Whether because it is religious for some, commercial for others, laborious, or even the meaning of some rest.
All the dates that symbolize family reunion, such as Christmas, become very painful when we no longer have those who were part of it with us. The absence of a mother, father, son, daughter, husband, wife, brother, sister, grandfather, grandmother, etc., causes a lot of pain at a time like this. And you can’t escape that.
In our case it was no different. My mother’s sudden departure left us with an unparalleled emptiness. Dealing with the absence of someone who organized everything at this time and who was the symbol of our union was very difficult. Only time has taught us to overcome this pain and live with it. Because it doesn’t disappear. We simply get used to living with it.
At the beginning of 2014 we lost a Felisberta and, at the end of the same year, we were blessed with the arrival of another Felisberta. This little angel came to soothe our hearts that were very hurt, precisely on the 26th of December, giving a new meaning to Christmas for us. She deserves that we look back at this date with love and all the symbolism it deserves.
And because at Christmas we celebrate family unity, Felisberta and I have already prepared the house to welcome grandfather and aunt, our loves. ❤️
All that’s left is to cook, but I’ll worry about that from the 23rd 😁!
I WISH YOU ALL A MERRY CHRISTMAS. To those who are going through this with a wound in their hearts, know that better days will come ❤️.
A BIG KISS AND THANK YOU TO EVERYONE! 😘❤️
