Today I’m sharing a special 6-part Short series that captures a single run — and everything that happened around it: the cold weather, the outfit fail, the stairs, the sweat, the thoughts, and the mindset. It wasn’t a long run or a fast one. But it was consistent. And that’s what matters.
🎥 This run was filmed on March 4, 2025.
Why I Shared This Run
This run represents what my recovery journey has really become: not about speed, but about showing up. Even when it’s cold. Even when I mess up the gear. Even when I’d rather stay in. These 6 Shorts follow me through that entire morning.
Here’s what you’ll see in each video:
- Cold but Committed — I head out to run despite the cold, wearing the wrong gear (no zippered pockets!), and still go for it.
- Stairs for the Win — I sprint up and down stairs for 3 rounds. It’s one of my favorite exercises and it got me sweating fast.
- Consistency Matters Most — I reflect on how consistency, not perfection, keeps the momentum alive.
- Loving the Movement — I talk about the importance of enjoying your workouts. If you don’t love it, it won’t last.
- Try Something New — A quick reminder that keeping an open mind might help you discover a new favorite activity.
- Gratitude & Purpose — I close the run with gratitude and head home to work — another kind of effort I genuinely enjoy.
