My Quick Grocery Run

Today I left home for a quick grocery run. I only needed a few things from Auchan, and this simple stop turned into one of those small, honest moments that make everyday life lighter.

The Basket Situation

Choosing a basket is always an adventure. I try to find the “least dirty” one and of course… the cleanest-looking basket was also the loudest. The wheels made such a noise that I highlighted it in the vlog so you could hear it too.

Self-Checkout Simplicity

One of the things I genuinely like about Auchan is the variety of checkout options: cashier, self-checkout and Scan Expresso. Since this was a very quick stop and I only picked up a few items, self-checkout was the obvious choice.
No queue. No waiting. No stress.

Sticking to the List

And yes — I’m proud of myself. I bought exactly what I needed.
No “just in case”, no distractions, no impulse items. If you’re a busy woman who shops regularly, you know how big this small victory actually is.

One of the smallest changes I made after 40 was paying attention to what I drink and when.

These everyday errands may seem small, but they show the real rhythm of life — simple, practical, sometimes funny (thank you, noisy wheels). Documenting my quick grocery run reminds me how meaningful these ordinary moments can be.

See you in the next vlog.
