I discovered the Park of the Poets in Oeiras on a calm late morning, and this Park of the Poets Oeiras walk became one of the simplest and most peaceful moments I’ve had in a long time. The sun was warm, the paths were quiet and I felt completely present. It was one of those small pauses that clear your mind and reset your energy.

The Park of the Poets covers about 22.5 hectares and mixes art, sculpture and nature in a very peaceful way. I walked slowly, felt the sunlight on my skin and let my thoughts settle.
At one point I found the space dedicated to Alda do Espírito Santo. As a Santomean woman, that moment felt meaningful. It was unexpected and beautiful to see her represented in a place like this.
This walk was simple, quiet and exactly what I needed. Just sunlight, greenery and a chance to breathe.
