This Park of the Poets Oeiras walk became one of the simplest and most peaceful moments I have had in a long time.
I discovered the park on a calm late morning, when the sun was warm, the paths were quiet and everything invited me to slow down. It was one of those small pauses that clears your mind, resets your energy and reminds you that sometimes the best kind of movement is the gentlest one.

Why This Walk Felt So Good
What I loved most about this walk was how calm everything felt.
There was no rush, no pressure and no noise competing for attention. Just open space, greenery, sculpture and sunlight. The Park of the Poets covers around 22.5 hectares, and the combination of nature and art gives the whole place a peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to slow down and simply be present.
I walked slowly, felt the sunlight on my skin and let my thoughts settle.

A Meaningful Moment at the Park
At one point, I found the space dedicated to Alda do Espírito Santo.
As a Santomean woman, that moment felt especially meaningful to me. It was unexpected and beautiful to see her represented in a place like this, and it gave the whole walk an emotional depth I had not anticipated when I arrived.
That small discovery stayed with me long after I left.
