Sometimes, dealing with administrative processes is a little stressful, because the fact that we have to look for the necessary documentation, as well as important information, makes everything a little more complicated. Specially, if the information is found in different places. As mentioned in the Homeschooling in Portugal, I leave here some important information.

Fantástica ajuda! Muito obrigada pela partilha!
Hi! I found your website googling unschooling and just wanted to thank you for the information on this page!! My family and I are moving to Portugal next year and my plans are to continue to unschool my daughter and granddaughter. Thanks for the information you provided on your page!!
Hi, I am glad you found the information useful 😊 . If you want to continue to unschool your children, I advise you to contact other programs like Clonlara. In Portugal, legally, we cannot unschool children. Only homeschooling under the schools supervision is allowed. Nonetheless, parents found a way to enroll their children in Clonlara or other similar systems to be able to unschool them. But, keep in mind that these programs are not recognized by the government and the Portuguese education department may make it difficult to later enroll in Portuguese schools or even create some legal problems. I contacted Clonlara previously and they explained me better how to work with them. They even help if parents have problems with the social services. This is their website: https://clonlara.org/pt. I hope it helps. 🙂
