A Fun Family Visit to the Lisbon Oceanarium 🐠🌊

With schoolwork completed and summer vacation beginning, I decided to surprise Felisberta with a special outing—a visit to the Lisbon Oceanarium! Since she had enjoyed the Lisbon Zoo, I figured she would have a great time exploring the underwater world as well.

A Long-Awaited Adventure 🐟🐧

I purchased the tickets in advance, and off she went with her two babysitters. Felisberta has two university student babysitters, which works perfectly for balancing my work schedule. They complement each other well, and most importantly, they adore Felisberta. ❤️

Whenever there’s an outing, I love that both of them go together—it makes it even more enjoyable for Felisberta. They’re great friends, and they understand her so well!

Did She Enjoy the Oceanarium? 🦈🦦

The visit went well, and she enjoyed the Oceanarium—but not as much as the Zoo. Since the Oceanarium is mostly indoors and dimly lit, she didn’t find it as exciting. Plus, a summer visit doesn’t quite compare to an autumn adventure. 😅

However, the outdoor areas were a big hit! She absolutely loved the penguins 🥰—and the otters too! 🦦

But when it came to the shark, she wasn’t too impressed. 😁

A Learning Experience Beyond the Classroom 🎒🌍

As a homeschooling mom, I believe it’s essential for Felisberta to explore the world as much as possible. These outings aren’t just fun—they are valuable educational experiences that help her discover new things. She learns, she has fun, and she creates memories. The perfect combination! 🥰
