Mommy Daughter Walk at Estadio Universitario is one of those simple moments that stays with you. Felisberta and I finally went back after weeks of cold and rain, and the timing could not have been better. We moved, we played, we explored ramps, paths and little corners that always feel new to her, and the whole walk turned into connection, laughter, and a small memory we will both remember.
Before heading out, we danced a little, because a good mood is part of the workout. Then we grabbed our water bottles, laced up our sneakers, and left home ready for adventure.
Here’s the water bottle we both use: light, leak proof, and perfect for walks.
My walking shoes are so comfy I actually enjoy walking. Here’s a similar on Amazon.
Felisberta’s sneakers are perfect for her little feet. Similar on Amazon.

At the Estádio Universitário
Today’s walk was at the Estádio Universitário de Lisboa, one of our favorite spots. It’s not just a stadium, it’s like a mini adventure park.
There are all kinds of surfaces to explore: flat paths, ramps, stairs, a proper running track, and my personal favorite, the “Harry Potter Forest.” It’s this quiet area full of tall trees that always reminds me of The Prisoner of Azkaban. No Dementors, I promise.
It’s the perfect place to move our legs in different ways while enjoying nature and staying close to the city.

It didn’t start easy, but it ended with joy
At first, Felisberta wasn’t really in the mood to walk. She stopped a few times, asked to turn back, and looked like she’d rather be anywhere else. Totally fair. We’ve all had those days.
But something shifted halfway through. She suddenly lit up, took off her jacket, and even started running on her own. That’s when the magic happened.
We played tag (she tried to catch Mama), raced up ramps like we were in the Olympics, and counted every stair step like little champions.
By the end of the walk, we were both beaming: sweaty, a little tired, and completely happy.

Cuddles, kisses and happy songs
At the end of every walk, Felisberta always asks for a photo. It’s our little ritual, and one she never forgets. She loves capturing our post walk glow, and honestly, so do I.
These are the moments when I really see how happy she is. She hugs me tight, gives me kisses (and asks for hers too), and walks out of the park singing her heart out.
It’s not just about movement. It’s about connection, memory making, and joy in the simplest form.

Sunshine, laughter, and a strong mama daughter bond
Getting back to outdoor training today felt amazing, the warm weather, the fresh air and most of all, having my daughter by my side.
We walked for about 20 minutes, played, challenged ourselves, and came back home beaming. The best part was hearing Felisberta laugh non stop on the way home. That sound alone told me everything. This walk meant so much to her too.
More than just a workout, this was about creating memories, building trust, and celebrating our little wins together. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
