Body Balance with André Godinho was exactly the kind of class I needed that day. Even with my neck limiting what I could do, the session still felt restorative, enjoyable, and genuinely helpful from start to finish.

  • My after class mood: calmer, lighter, more mobile, and glad I listened to my body

  • My focus today: enjoy the class, protect my neck, and take what my body was ready to do
  • Body notes: neck limitation affected some movements, but the class still felt beneficial and restorative overall

What My Body Balance Class with André Godinho Really Felt Like

Today was BRUCE LEE TRAINING DAY, which means Body Balance and Body Combat with ANDRÉ GODINHO. However, depending on how my neck performed in the first class, I would decide whether to go to the second.

Verdict: The spiral twist to the right said noooo…” 😅. So, Bruce only meditated today. Hopefully, next week he’ll be back to combat as well. 😁🤞🏾

👉🏾 Side note: There’s nothing more annoying than wanting to work out properly and having your body tell you a resounding no! 😒

Body Balance today was delightful. I loved every track!

💪🏾 The WARM-UP was flowy.

💪🏾 The SUN SALUTATIONS were sweaty.

💪🏾 The WARRIORS were challenging.

💪🏾 The BALANCE track was beautiful – I really enjoyed the half-lotus tree pose and its openings. There’s nothing more beautiful than seeing the human body conquering balance.

💪🏾 The HIP OPENERS were stretchy 😁, and the TWISTS felt like heaven 😌. My neck felt so much better! 🙏🏾

And then… the magic phrase: “FIND A COMFORTABLE POSITION.” 🥰

Meditation is such an important part of my life. It calms me down, deepens my connection to my intuition, and ALWAYS helps me find the answers I need. And today was no different.

André’s meditation was gold. ✨ Through breathwork, we renewed our energy. Then, he guided us into a cocoon, where, through a recycling process, we embraced the line of life, containing our past, present, and future. That was a beautiful reflection. 👌🏾

Even though Bruce Lee didn’t get to fight, he meditated and renewed his energy. But don’t worry – next week he’ll be throwing punches again! 😁👊🏾 💪🏾🔥

ANDRÉ’S GUIDANCE always brings the perfect balance between challenge and mindfulness. His energy and meditations make every class SPECIAL! 🙌🏾

What stood out most in this Body Balance class was André’s ability to guide both the physical and mental side of the session. The class felt balanced in a very complete way, with challenge where needed and calm where it mattered most.

His meditation guidance also left a strong impression. That added another layer to the session and made the experience feel more meaningful than just a stretch or mobility class.

How I Felt After Class

Right after: calmer, physically better, and grateful that I had still been able to move despite the limitation in my neck.

Later that day: more relaxed, less tense, and mentally steadier. It felt like the class had helped me reset.

Next day: still aware of my neck, but overall better in my body and glad I had chosen movement and meditation instead of forcing more intensity.

Final Thoughts

This Body Balance class with André Godinho felt restorative, thoughtful, and genuinely useful. If you want a class that supports mobility, balance, stretching, mindfulness, and real recovery, this kind of session can do a lot of good.

From a student’s perspective, this was one of those classes that reminded me that listening to your body is sometimes the smartest kind of training.
