Body Combat 100
Not bad for a first time at Jamor!
The weather was spectacular! A cheeky little breeze, but nothing too serious. Getting there was easy, parking too. On the way to the event venue, I got to take in the most beautiful setting: absolutely perfect for a family day out.
The welcome desk was lovely. T-shirt, water, and a cereal bar in hand, I even caught a bit of the Pilates class that was already running on site. Outdoor classes really are something special.
Plenty of familiar faces (some of them quite famous), greetings exchanged all around, and then we went off in search of a good spot to take the class.
People kept arriving and the venue kept filling up. The mascot kept us entertained while we waited.
And then the stars of the day started making their entrance. Suddenly, they all turned their backs to us and the suspense built: the Body Combat 100 Mega Class had begun. And what a beginning!
I thought the way the instructors were spread across the stage was brilliant, walking us through the Body Combat movements bit by bit. It looked absolutely STUNNING!
All 14 instructors stayed on stage throughout, rotating positions depending on which track they were leading.
And every single one of them was extraordinary. This Body Combat 100 release is PHENOMENAL. I even loved the push-up track! Not to mention I did the burpees with the biggest smile on my face!
Some of the instructors I already knew from the Solinca locations I attend (like Rita Calaz, André Godinho and Hugo Fernandes), and I got to discover the rest of them in action. MAGNIFICENT!
My sincere apologies to the gentlemen, who were also brilliant, but I absolutely have to talk about the LADIES. What powerful women we had on that stage, with incredible presence in their voices, impressive movement, and every single one of them stunning! I L-O-V-E-D it!
On top of an excellent workout, we were treated to fantastic energy, little touches of dance (even a hint of it is enough to make me happy), jokes about what it means to wake up on a Saturday, very well delivered technical cues, battle cries, endless energy, and one POWERFUL finale, because that last track made the floor of Jamor shake!
I have nothing but gratitude for this magnificent event. It even chased my cold away!
