
This RPM High Performance class review is based on one of the most intense indoor cycling experiences I have had, led by Igor Angélico and Pedro Pereiros. The room was full, the atmosphere was powerful, and the class felt different from a standard RPM session from the moment it started.

What My RPM High Performance Class Really Felt Like
WHAT A WONDERFUL experience! RPM High Performance, with IGOR ANGÉLICO and PEDRO PEREIROS.
Welcomed at the door with the usual warmth, full room, and we got started.
First things first: the setting!!! MAGNIFICENT! Simply magical! I had the feeling of stepping into another world entirely. Details that make all the difference!
During the warm-up, I tried to conserve energy, knowing from experience exactly how intense this class was going to be.
By track 2 I was already feeling it. Strong from the very beginning! Training had begun in earnest!
Track 3 was equally powerful, and so was track 4, my Achilles heel. This track holds a very special place for me, because it absolutely DESTROYS me. I feel a BURNING in my legs when I have to go from standing up and pedalling with heavy resistance to speed, with matching resistance still on. It is FIRE, people! In the best possible way! Hahahaha! There is something magical about pushing yourself all the way to your limit.
Track 5 was also really strong. And no, there was no recovery to be had…
Then came my beloved track 6! In this class it was out to finish me off… Speed on top of speed! The legs go at maximum pace, then have to slow down but stay fast, and then the whole cycle starts all over again!!! JEEZ!
In track 7, I usually fire off whatever I have left. Pedalling to the beat of the music, with resistance…
And then we arrived at what makes this RPM special, hence HIGH PERFORMANCE: tracks 8 and 9! And this is where the effort shifts from the legs to the mind.
In those final 2 tracks, we give everything that remains, and it is an enormous struggle. It truly becomes a mental game to make it to the end. It is the mind that takes over: “Push! You can do this! Just a little more!”
The class was MAGNIFICENT! Igor and Pedro were IMPECCABLE, giving us an INCREDIBLE workout with wonderful energy, constant encouragement, and a fantastic atmosphere throughout.
I LOVED every second! There is something very special about pushing your body all the way to its limit. You finish exhausted, but happy and proud!

From a student’s perspective, this was one of those classes where the instructors, the room, the music, and the challenge all came together. It felt intense, emotional, and memorable.
How I Felt After Class
- Right after: exhausted, sweaty, proud, completely aware that I had pushed myself hard, and super happy!!
- Later that day: still thinking about the atmosphere, the lights, the music, and the feeling of giving everything until the final track.
- Next day: the kind of tiredness that reminds you the class was serious, especially in the legs after the speed and resistance work.
Final Thoughts
This RPM High Performance class with Igor Angélico and Pedro Pereiros was intense, demanding, and genuinely memorable. It pushed my body hard, but what made it special was how much of the challenge became mental near the end.
From a student’s perspective, this was not just another indoor cycling class. It felt like a full training experience, with atmosphere, energy, resistance, speed, and that final mental push where you have to decide to keep going.
This was one of the strongest RPM experiences I have had, and absolutely worth remembering.
